For those of you that do not know the story behind this bike. A friend of mine that was in the military also worked at a bike shop in Japan. They had this RVF that had bodywork damage and no one wanted it. (Naked bikes are what is cool in Japan right now) Since I did a lot of business importing parts from them they offered it to me for the cost of shipping it over. I said YES! I told them trash the bodywork and just send the parts I need to make a racebike. So they took the bike apart and since he was in the military they shipped over in boxes though the US Mail! For a month I would get boxes in and open them up like it was Christmas! Total cost for the bike was less than $300 for the shipping!

The heads where sent off for porting & valve job and then to my mechanic for assembly. My friend from ISR heard about the project and sent over some of their new endurance brakes for it since we plan on using for endurance racing. The next step is making a complete exhaust and then off for paint and getting the belly pan filled in the back to make it legal for most racing clubs. That is it for now, more soon...

I am still working on getting these ISR brakes setup on it!

I know they will be amazing since I have a set off their regular brakes on my Hawk.

Very adjustable master cylinder!

Marchesini rims front and rear.

Ohlins custom shock with hydraulic preload adjuster so it will be great for different rider weight adjustments during pitstops.

Having some fun on a test day at Buttonwillow Raceway. It was this day that I realized how bad the shock is!

Here is the bike when it was stripped down for the upgrades.

Since day one, I set my bike up as  reverse shifting pattern but I was never happy with contact with the side stand. I saw on the TSR site that their rear sets had this extended arm so I ordered one. It works very well!

Here is a upgraded after market regulator/rectifier that replaced the faulty stock unit. If your battery going bad all the time, this is most likely the solution.

Email  me if you would like to get a deal on one!
